Application Steps
Cleanse: Wash your face with a gentle cleanser and pat dry. This product works best on dry skin.
Prime Pump: For the first use, you may need to prime the pump by pressing down 5-6 times to get the product flowing.
Apply Serum: Dispense a pea-sized amount onto your fingertips. Gently massage a thin, even layer of the serum over your entire face.
Targeted Areas: Focus on areas with post-acne marks, blemishes, or uneven texture, but ensure even distribution across the skin.
Avoid Sensitive Areas: Be careful to avoid direct contact with the eyes and lips.
Follow Up: The serum is lightweight and non-greasy, and a moisturizer can be layered over the top after the serum has had a few minutes to absorb, if desired.

Frequency: This product is typically used once daily in the evening. Start by using it gradually (e.g., every other night) and increase frequency to nightly as your skin builds tolerance and if no irritation occurs.
Sun Protection: Retinol can increase sun sensitivity. It is crucial to use a broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher in the morning while using this product.
Avoid Mixing: Do not use the CeraVe Resurfacing Retinol Serum in the same routine with other potent exfoliating or acne-treating products (like AHAs/BHAs or high-concentration Vitamin C) on the same night to avoid irritation. You can alternate them on different nights.
External Use Only: This product is for external use only. If contact with eyes occurs, rinse thoroughly with water.
